fp
26 July 1999
AGE NC Project No. 95-0106
water samples collected from the offsite well MW-4 in 1998 after declining in 1997,but have
declined in the first two quarters of monitoring in 1999.
• Continued detection of TPH-g and BTEX in ground water samples collected from the off-site
well MW4 indicates that the plume of impacted ground water has migrated off-site towards
the north. The extent of the plume around MW-4 is constrained by data from MW-6 toward
the north-northeast, MW-5 toward the southwest and P4 toward the southeast relative to
MW-4. The northwestern extent of the plume is not well constrained.
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of this investigation, AGE recommends:
• Collection of soil and ground water samples to characterize and delineate the off-site plume
of impacted ground water as per the recently PH S-EHD-approved work plan. !
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the monitoring well network. AGE has scheduled the next
ground water monitoring event for 24 August 1999.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geo logic/hydrogeo logic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of
available data points (i.e. monitoring well ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may
vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
