28 April 1999 :.
AGE-NC Project N6.95-0106
Page 4 of-_4
the north. The extent of the plume around MW-4 is constrained by data'from MW-6,toward ;
the north-northeast, MW-5 toward the southwest and P4 toward the southeast relative to .
MW-4. The northwestern extent of the plume is not constrained,
OMMENDATIONS
' Based on the results of this investigatioli,.AGE.recommends:
• Collection of soil and-ground water samples to characterize and delineate the off-site plume
' of impacted ground water.-PHS-EHD is,reviewing a work plan to address this.issue and is
expected to comment on the work plan soon,
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the monitoring well network until the nature of the
impacted ground water in the area of MW-4 is-understood. AGE has scheduled the next
ground water monitoring event for 24 May 1999.
6.0. Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic'
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from'a Iimited number of
'. available data points (i.e. --monitoring wells, ground water and soil samples). and subsurface
conditions may, vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied;is made ,
as-to the professional recommendations contained in this report.:
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. ,
