INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mi-."Weldon-Church,Advanced.GeoEnvironmental, Inc.{AGE)has prepared this ' <br />' quarterly groundwater monitoring report"for.the'site at..104 West Beverly Place; Tracy, California <br /> (the site). The scope of work included the monitoring and sampling of eight wells and preparation <br /> of this report. The site location is illustrated on Figure 1. Locations of structures, borings and <br />' monitoring,wells related to the site are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is • ; <br /> provided in Appendix A. <br /> 2.0.1 PROCEDURES <br />' The'December 2003•monitoring event was performed in accordance with-Central Valley Regional' <br /> Water Quality Control Board,(CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health ; <br /> Department (EHD) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and for <br />' . sampling ground water monitoring wells, respectively. <br />' 2.1. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 16 December 2003; a Solinst'water levet meter was used to measure the depth to ground water. <br />' ground ound watermonitoring wells MW-1 through MW-7 relative to the.top of the well casing.After'- <br /> . <br /> ground water depth measurements were collected, each monitoring well was purged using a new, <br /> disposable plastic bailer.Between approximately '. and 9.50 gallons ofwaterwas evacuated from <br /> each monitoring well, a minimum of three casing-water volumes per well.,:.' <br /> tTemperature,pH,and conductivity were measured at 1 to 3 gallon intervals,as appropriate,,using an .,. <br /> Oak#on water analyzerto monitor stabilization of these groundwater parameters.Field data logs are <br /> included in Appendix B. Purgedwater was temporarily stored.on-site in 55-gallon DQT-approved <br />' storage drums pending proper disposal;' <br />' 2'.2. COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS-OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES' <br /> Water samples-were collected`frorn monitoring wells MW-1"through MW-7 using new disposable' <br /> bailers. The samples were transferred into •40-m1 EPA-approved volatile organic analysis.(VOA). <br /> vials containing 0:5 ml'1 S%hydrochloric acid as a preservative.
