' Quarterly Reportp -Third Quarter 2003
' WELDON CHURCH PROPERTY
' 104 West Beverly Place;,Tracy, California
' 1.0, INTRODUCTION
-At the request of Mr...Weldon Church,-Advanced'GeoEnvironmentai, Inc: (AGE) has prepared this
quarterly ground water monitoring report for the-site at 104 West-Beverly Place, Tracy; California
' (the site). The scope of work included the monitoring and, sampling of eight wells and preparation
of this report. The site location is illustrated on Figure 1.,Locations of structures, borings and
' "monitoring wells related to the site are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is .
. provided iii Appendix A: _
2.0. PROCEDURES
' The September 2003 nnoratoring event was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional'
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health
' Department (EHD) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank•(UST) sites and for
;sampling'ground water monitoring wells; respectively.
' .•,2.1,. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
' "in -On 11 September 2003, a Solinst water level, meter was used to measure the depth to ground water
- relative to- to of the well ca§in . After
: • water monitoring wells M W l through MW 7 rel p g
- ground, water depth measurements were collected, each monitoring'well was purged using a new
' disposable plastic-bailer. Between approximately 3 and 10 gallons of water was evacuated from each
z monitoring well, a mininiLUZ of three casing=water volumes per, well.
' Teniperature,-pH and conductivity were measured at 1 and 2 gallon Interv' als',' as appropriate,-using. ,
an Oakton water analyzer to monitonstabilization',of these ground water parameters.Field data logs,
" are • included , in.'Appendix• B. `Purged water was'-temporarily stored on-site •in '55-gallon,
'• DOT-'approved storage drams pending proper disposal.
' 2.2. COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND-WATER SAMPLES
Watersal iples were collected- r6ni monitoring wells MW1'through MW-7 usirig new disposable
bailers. The samples were transfer'cd into'40-ml EPA-approved'volatile organic.analysis (VOA).
vials'containing 0.5'nz118%hydrochloric acid as a preservative. The sample vials were then labeled
' with the nianitoriilg well designation, date, tirile ofsampling and the sample'r's initials. The.samples .
•:were transported; in..a .chilled container under chain- custody to Cal. Tech; Environmental
Advanced GcoEnvironinental,Inc. '
