INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. Weldon Church,Advanced GeoErivironriienta1, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this
IV quarterly ground water monitoring report for the site'at 104 West Beverly Place, Tracy, California ;
(the site). The scope of work included monitoring and sampling eight wells and preparation of this
I report. The site location.is illustrated on Figure.l..Locations of structures, borings and monitoring,
Wells related to the site'aare illustrated'on Figure 2., Site background information is provided in' ,
Appendix A.
2.0: ' PROCEDURES
' The December-2002 monitoring event was erformed in accordance with Central Vallcy;Regional .
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health
' Department (EHD) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST);sites and for
sampling ground-water monitoring wells, respectively.
2.1. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
Ori.T9"December 2002, a Solinst water levelmeter was used to measure the depth to ground water
in groundwater monitoring wells MW-'l through MW-7 relative to the top of the well casing. After
groundwater depth, measurements were collected, each measured monitoring well was purged using
' a new disposable plastic bailer. Between approxi'rriately 4 and 9.7 gallons of water were evacuated
from each monitoring well, a minimum of three-casing-water volumes per well.
' Temperature;pH and conductivity were measured at 1 to 3-gallon intervals, as appropriate, using
an Oakton water analyzer to monitor stabilization oftheseground water parameters. Field data'logs
are included in Appendix B. .Purged water was 'temporarily' stored on-site in 55-gallon
' DOT-approved H-17.storage drums pending'proper.disposal.
' 2.2.' COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF'GROUND WATER SAMPLES" '
Water sa'mp' les were collected from monitoring wells MW=1 through MW-7 using'new disposable
bailers..The samples' were transferred into 40-mi .EPA-approved vials containing 0.5,.ml 18% T
hydrochloric acid as a preservative. The-sample vials were then labeled with the monitoring well
' designation, date, time of sampling and the, sampler's,initials. The samples were transported in_a
chilled container under chain-of-custody to McCampbell' Analytical, Inc. (MAI); a California
Advanced CeoEnvfronmental,.Ine.
