INTRODUCTION <br /> -At the request of Mr. Weldon Church,Advanced GeoEnviroiimental, Inc.. (AGE)'has.prepared this <br /> quarterly ground water monitoring report for the site at 104 West Beverly Place, Tracy, California <br /> (the site). The scope of work included purge water disposal; monitoring and sampling eight wells <br /> and preparation of this report. The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1. Locations of structures,, <br /> borings and monitoring wells related to the site are:illustrated,on Figure 2. <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> idetailed in Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report .- September, 1996 (PIER),.'dated <br /> 10 September 1996, and Ground Water Monitoring Report- First Quarter 2000, dated 09 August_ <br /> 2000,both prepared by,AGE: <br /> I2.0: . ' PROCEDURES <br /> The May 2002 monitoring event was performed in accordance with Central-Valley Regional Water ' <br /> Ile Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and San.Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and for sampling ground <br /> water monitoring wells; respectively.. <br /> 2.1. PURGE WATER DISPOSAL <br /> ' On 25 March 2002 'approximately 500 gallons of non-hazardouspurge water bvas <br /> pumped from on- . .• <br /> site 55-gallon drums. The purge water had been generated during previous ground water monitoring <br />' events. Pumping and disposal was completed by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc. of Delhi, <br /> California:The purge water was disposed at Riverbank Oil Transfer located in Riverbank,California. <br /> A copy of the waste disposal manifest is included in Appendix A. <br /> 2.2. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION , <br /> On 29 May 2002, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> ground water monitoring wells MW-I,through MW-7 relative to the top of the well casing. After <br />' ground water depth measurements were collected;.each measured monitoring well was purged using <br /> a new disposable plasticbailer. Approximately 3 to-8 gallons of water were evacuated from.each' <br /> monitoring well, a minimum of three casing-water volumes per well. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br /> r <br />
