INTRODUCTION ; <br /> At the request of Mr. Weldon Church,Advanced GeoEnvironmental;Inc. (AGE)has prepared'this. : <br />'. quarterly ground watermonitoring report for the site at 104,West Beverly Place,•Tracy, California <br /> -•(the site). The scope of work.included monitoring and sampling seven-wells, obtaining laboratory <br /> analyses of the samples and preparation of this report. The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1. <br /> Locations'of structures, borings and monitoring wells related to the site,are illustrated on Figure 2. ; <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> detailed in Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report =,September 1.996 (PIER), dated., <br /> -4 September 1996, and Ground Water Monitoring Report -First Quarter 2000, dated 09 August, <br /> 2000, both prepared by AGE. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located in a residential area of central Tracy,California,in San Joaquin County(Figure 1'). <br /> I • y . One house and a detached garage/storage area are currently located on the property. An apartment <br /> complex is located immediately west of the former-UST area;'residences are located to the south and <br /> east of the site. One small capacity(550-gallon)UST was installed at the site in the.early 1980s.The <br /> tank was used to fuel vehicles associated with Church Refrigeration,a company owned and operated ' <br /> I' by Mr: Weldon Church. <br /> 3.0.' PROCEDURES <br /> The May 2001,monitoring event was.perforrned in accordance with Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board'-CentrUValleyRegion (RWQCB-CVR)'and'San'Joaquiri'County Public Health Services- ' <br /> Envirom-venial Health Division(PHS-EHD).guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank` <br /> h (UST) sites and for sampling ground water monitoring wells, respectively.- <br /> 3.1. <br /> .3 1. MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES` K , <br /> On 17 May 2001, a Solinst water Ievel�'incter was used to measure fie depth to ground water in each <br /> well relative.to the top of the well casing. After,ground,water.depth measurements-were collected, . <br /> each monitoring well was purged•using a PVC two-stage submersible pump.Approximately 4 to 9.5 <br /> gallons"of'water were evacuated from each monitoring well, a minimum of•three casing-water <br /> volumes per well. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirownental,Inc. <br />
