If these conditions exist as of this date of this letter, they are to be abated within fifteen <br /> (15) days from the date of this letter. Failure to implement immediate corrective action within the <br /> specified time period will result in legal action by this agency. You will also be liable for enforcement costs <br /> specified below. <br /> RECOVERY OF ENFORCEMENT COST <br /> Pursuant to Section 8-5400 County Ordinance Code, the County shall be reimbursed for all time, services <br /> and materials needed to abate a violation of the Division. The hourly rate used to compute time spent to <br /> investigate, document and abate a violation shall be the actual costs. The enforcement agency is entitled <br /> to recover all costs associated with the voluntary and involuntary abatement violations. <br /> PERMITS <br /> Where structural, electrical, plumbing or mechanical violations exist, you must request an inspection and <br /> obtain permits from the San Joaquin County Building Division (SJCBD) prior to rehabilitation.
