INTRODUCTION
At-.the request..of Mr. Weldon Church,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,:Inc.,,(AGE)has prepared this
quarterly ground water monitoring report for the site at 104 West Beverly,Place, Tracy, California:'
:The scope of.work included the-monitoring and sampling of eight. wells and preparation,of this -
_ ..
report. The site location is'illustrated on'Figure 1. Locations of structures, borings, and monitoring, .
Iwells related to the-site are-illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information-is provided in
Appendix A. .
2.0. PROCEDURES
z
IThe June 2005 monitoring event was.performed in accordance with Central Valley.Regional Water.
Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and•San Joaquin County Environmental Halth Department,,
(EHD)guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites anal for sampling ground,
water monitoring wells. ;
2.1'. WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
i
On 10'June 2005, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in
ground water monitoring wells MW-1 throughMW-7 relative to the tops of the well'casings. After
ground water depth measurements were collected, each monitoring well-was purged using a new
disposable plastic bailer:Between 2.5 'and 7.5 gallons of water were evacuated'from each monitoring, ;
well,,a minimum of three casin -water'volumes per well:
Temperature;pH, and conductivity were,measured at regular gallon.interval s,as appropriate,'using
' an Oakton water analyzer to monitor stabilization of these ground water parameters. Field data'logs
are included in Appendix-B. Purged water was temporarily.stored on-site.in 55-gallon Department
rof Transportation,(DOT)-approved storage drums pending proper disposal:
r' 2.2. COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS-OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
Water samples were'collected from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-Tusing new.disposable .
' bailers.The samples.were transferred into 40-milliliter(m1)EPA-approved volatile organic analysis,
(VOA)vials containing 0.5 ml 18%hydrochloric acid*solution as.a preservative. The samplevials ,
were'then labeled with the monitoring well designation,.date, time.of sampling; and the sampler's
initials. .
Advanced GeoEnvironmeotal,Inc.
