Analytical results of ground water samples are
summarized' in Table 2. The laboratory report (CTEL Project .No: CT214'0409157), .quality _ '±
assurance/quality control(QA/QC)reports and chain of custody forms are included in Appendix'C. ;
Documents confirming the upload'of laboratory electronic deliverable format(EDF)files and depth
' to water measurements to GeoTracker are included in Appendix D.
4
4.0.. SUMMARY AND CONCLUS11ONS`
The following conclusions were drawn from the results ofthe,site investigation:
. r • ` The.,ground :water flow. direction was generally northward on 23 September 2004;:at ,
' gradients ranging between 0.003.foo't/foot 'arid 0.007 foot/foot. Ground water'elevations ;
'decreased slightly but continue to-`flow in a northerly direction.
• TPH-g was detected in'ground water samples from monitoring well MW-4, located down-
gradient off-,site from the former UST excavation, and in well MW-1 located just north of
.; the former UST area.-Concentrations of dissolved TPH-g decreased this quarter in samples
' . from wells MW-1 and MW-4.
• BTEX'compounds were detected in the water samples collected from MW-1 and MW-4. The
concentrations of benzene in the'ground'water samples.,collected'from wells MW-1 and
' MW,4 exceeds the State of California Maximum Containiriant Level (MCL) for benzene
.in drinking water.
• MTBE .was not detected.inthe water samples collected from the site.for the second
consecutive quarter. ,
'1'2-DCA was not detected this'quarter in.the ground water samples collected:
' 5.0.
