SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
The following conclusions were drawn from the results of the site'investigation:
• The ground water flow direction was generally northward on 25-March 2004, at an average
gradient of 0.006 foot/foot. Ground water elevations-increased slightly but continue to flow
' in a northerly-directiori.
J r
• ' TPH-g was;detected in groundwater samples.fr'om monitoring well MW-4, located'down-
' gradient'off-site-frorrf theformer UST excava#ion; and well MW-1,located.just north of the.
former UST area'
• BTEX compounds were detected in the water samples collected from MW-1 and-MW-4. The
concentrations of benzene in'the ground water samples collected.from `wells'MW-1 and
MW74 exceeds, the,State' of.California maximum contaminant level (MCL) for drinking
water..,
• MTBE was.notdetected in the water samples collected froft the'site this quarter.
