Cmethod's protocol and the requirements of the San Joaquin County„IPHS-EHD. Accuracy is a measure of
g
bias in the measurement system,and accuracy of the analytical data will lie determined through an
assessment of the recovery of surrogate and spike compounds. Surrogate compounds will be added by
the laboratory to each sample for organic compound analysis,and the percent recovery will be reported
with sample results. Reanalysis will be required for samples in which surrogate recoveries are outside
4 the laboratory-established control limits. All corrective actions taken for'amples requiring reanalysis
will be reported with sample results. Matrix spike/matrix spike dulplicate!(MS/MSD)compound
recoveries will be reported with sample results. If spike compound recoveries are outside control limits,

i
then sample reanalysis will be required. All required reanalysis must be performed within method
I}
recommended holding times. Any actions taken to bring compound recoveries within control limits will
be reported by the laboratory in case narratives supplied with sample results.
I}
4.0 REPORT PREPARATION
A site assessment report will be prepared which will present a description of the activities performed and
the results of the subsurface soil evaluation. Based upon the information obtained, appropriate
recommendations will be made regarding the findings. The report will lie prepared under the supervision
i of a California-registered geologist and in accordance with San Joaquin County PHS-EHD requirements.
j.
3  ,
3y
is
it
jl Y
it
P
I
I
4
