MET WITH ROGER HOFFDAHL WITH CORN PRODUCTS WHO MADE ALL OF THE REQUIRED <br /> NOTIFICATIONS WHILE ONSITE. THE DELIVERY DRIVER WAS OFFLOADING A WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL <br /> WITH A PH 1.8 (TRACER)WHEN A COUPLING CAME LOOSE ON THE HOSE SPILLING APPX. 5-10 GALLONS OF <br /> THE LIQUID ONTO THE ASPHALT, PERSONELL ONSITE PROVIDED THE DRIVER WITH SODA ASH TO <br /> NEUTRALIZE AND CONTAIN THE SPILL. THE DELIVERY COMPANY, NALCO, DISPATCHED A HAZARDOUS <br /> WASTE CLEAN UP COMPANY FROM OAKLAND TO CLEAN UP THE SPILL. THEY ARRIVED ONSITE AT 1305 AND <br /> PLACED ABSORBENT ON THE SPILL AREA. THEY SWEPT UP THE WASTE ABSORBENT AND PLACED IN A <br /> CONTAINER THAT WAS LABELED AND LEFT ONSITE FOR THE FACILITY TO DISPOSE OF AT A LATER DATE. <br /> CLEAN UP CONTRACTOR LEFT THE SCENE AT 1450. TOOK PHOTOS OF THE SPILL BEFORE AND AFTER <br /> CLEAN UP. ALL OF THE SPILL WAS ON ASPHALT, NO STORMWATER DRAINS WERE REACHED. THE FACILITY <br /> WILL FORWARD A COPY OF THE HAZARDOUS WASTE MANIFEST WHEN AVAILABLE. CALEMA SPILL REPORT <br /> NUMBER 10-3785.
