The purpose of our services is to provide a preliminary evaluation of the
groundwater conditions to assist in the evaluation of the area for possible wastewater discharge,
and also to provide initial background information to be included during design and permitting of
the site as a wastewater spray discharge field.
In general, the work plan as described consists of an initial series of more widely spaced wells.
Following this preliminary evaluation we expect additional wells would be required to allow
modeling of the upgradient and downgradient conditions. The locations of these later wells
would be dependent on the findings of the currently proposed study,
We request that the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board please review and
comment on this work plan.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The groundwater study will be conducted on 11 parcels covering approximately 253 acres
located on the north side of Manila Road and the south side of Frewert Road, west of Interstate 5
and east of the San Joaquin River. Figure I shows the locations of the parcels.
631 Commerce Drive,Suite 100•Roseville,CA 95678•(916)786-8883•Fax(916)786-7891
www.engeo.com
