This investigation will be <br /> completed in general accordance with the authorized scope of services outlined in our signed <br /> proposal number 30714 dated March 13, 2012. <br /> I Site Description <br /> The subject property, which consists of agricultural farmland, is located on the west side of <br /> South Brennan Avenue, in a rural agricultural area of Escalon, California.(Figure 2). <br /> The property, listed as 20963 South Brennan Road, with an Assessor's Parcel Number of 247- <br /> 04-002, totals approximately 152.5 acres is improved with a one-story residence, tractor shed, <br /> and pesticide storage shed of unknown square footages. The property is currently utilized as <br /> agricultural crop land and is leased by Plant Sciences. On-site operations consist of the <br /> conventional cultivation of mainly strawberries, raspberries and cherries. In addition to the <br /> buildings, the property is improved with five irrigation wells, one domestic well, a compressor <br /> shed, a domestic well shed and two irrigation canal pumps. The general land use in the vicinity <br /> of the property is agricultural. <br /> The property is relatively flat and generally slopes to the west, and is mapped at an elevation of <br /> about 110 feet above mean sea level. The nearest water body is the Main District Canal located <br /> 0.48 mile to the south. <br /> II Background and Purpose <br /> A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) was performed for the site by AEI Consultants, <br /> dated February 10, 2012.
