The results indicated that only minor concentrations of total
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) were found in two soil samples [29 milligrams per kilogram
(mg/kg)in AL1-1 and 10 mg/kg in AL5-2]. Hydrocarbon constituents were not detected in any
other soil samples or in groundwater samples. Hydrocarbons were not detected in groundwater
samples collected again in 1988.
1: PURPOSE
Theof
P se this work is to further, investigate whether trte soil and/or groundwater have
been affected with hydrocarbons in the vicinity of the former waste oil excavation at ther
site. r .w .w  i[tosrl will"6cn }Y- fir/, ode/cyt{
r _ _
byd tAd iton y wa#eF, Z +dT i 'altecteii frvtrx"thc E
hrotrzcknigite LFA 1shows t11d}a
ed
n
hi 20T
C Ur1 Ata111t8tirl
` t FIELD METHODS
J
This section desMbes_the-field methods-for-this investigation.
!
