To drill 3 pilot soil borings and to collect soil samples every 5 feet(surface to 65 feet). <br /> 2. To install 3 shallow/first water MWs in the pilot borings,to develop the 3 MWs,to survey well <br /> head elevations,and to collect groundwater samples for analysis. <br /> 3. To analyze soil and groundwater samples for TPH-gasoline and TPH-diesel in accordance <br /> with EPA Method 8015 Modified. To analyze soil and groundwater samples for BTEX, <br /> oxygenates,and fuel additives in accordance with EPA Method 8260B. <br /> 4. To prepare and submit a report of findings,with conclusions and recommendations,to EHD <br /> and CVRWQCB. <br /> 5. To perform groundwater monitoring and sampling quarterly and to submit quarterly reports. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. The W.P.proposes the 3 pilot borings be completed to a total depth of 65 feet below ground <br /> surface. The vertical and lateral extent of soil and groundwater contamination must be <br /> defined. Soil and groundwater contamination has been documented to 45 feet from previous <br /> work already completed. Soil and groundwater sampling to greater depths may be <br /> necessary, if characterization is not completed with the proposed target depth of 65 feet. <br /> 2. Groundwater monitoring and sampling must be performed and reports submitted on a <br /> quarterly basis,until no further action is required and the site closure is granted. <br /> 3. A well receptor survey must be completed and submitted with the report of findings. <br /> 4. A EHD permit application and fees must be submitted by February 1,2006. <br /> 5. The proposed scope of work must be completed by March 30,2006. <br /> 6.
