r.
i
s December 31, 1994
TO whom this concerns:
I am one of group ofresidence at Stockon Verde Mobile Home Park, 4900 N. Hwy
99. We are concerned about our club house being turned into a restaurant. In the
past, we had breakfast once a month for$1.50. The $1.50 was to cover the expenses of
the food plus cover cost of the daily coffee that was available in the lounge.
We got new managers and assistants about 2 months ago. Since then they ha ve taken
over the brealdast, coolang, collecting the money plus they have made up complete
menus and raised the prices. They also,(as you can see by this menu sent to each
' R -,,--resident)have started_selling-other-food.t7he frstfmonth they were here theypretended
to have a spaghetti feed to get acquaint. Then they had another one. 11ow it is a }
regular restaurant. We want to]avow if the manager, his wife and the assistant
manager have food handlers licence. Also have they passed the medical requirements
to cook and serve food. Some of our residents are elderly and their health isn't too
good, we would hate to see them contact a disease due to eating contaminated food
We want to see a health certificate posted and what ever it takes to assure us that the
food our residence will be eating is safe.
I am sending a copy of this letter to the San Joaquin County Health Department, San
Joaquin County Licence Bureau and the owner of this park We are hoping something
will be done before the next food is served.
Thank you sincerely,
A concerned group ofStockon Verde Mobile Home Park residences d
\ lJln7
!AN 0
O EN, 'MENTA!
