I called Natalia S. in solid PE 2200 BACKUS <br /> 30 min waste unit to find the contact number for this property. She said Randy Thomas SC 544 <br /> 209-369-9255 is the attorney representing the current owner,Andres Gomez. I <br /> called Randy who refused to grant access for a CUPA inspection. He only wants <br /> to deal with one EHD unit(solid waste). <br /> 06/18/2018 Received call from Arlene Gomez, daughter of the property owner. 415-900-7813. PE 2200 BACKUS <br /> 12 min I told her that I'd like to inspect the property for hazardous waste and take photos. SC 544 <br /> She will contact her father to set up a time for an inspection and call me back. <br /> 06/19/2018 Reviewed complaint information and prepared for tomorrow's inspection at 1 pm PE 2200 FLORIDO <br /> 18 min with Garrett Backus. SC 544 <br /> 06/20/2018 On site with Garrett Backus, REHS, and met with the property owner,Andres PE 2200 FLORIDO <br /> 180 min Gomez, and his daughter,Arlene Gomez. Two representatives from Fremow were SC 544 <br /> on site at the time of inspection. Walked the property with Andres and Arlene and <br /> observed several piles of wood containing treated wood waste (TWW) throughout <br /> the property. The following TWW was observed: <br /> - Approximately 18 6ft. pieces of TWW adjacent the dirt driveway <br /> - Treated wood telephone pole on the east side of the property, adjacent the <br /> property line. <br /> - Five piles of wood containing treated and untreated wood waste, <br /> approximately 300-500 feet north of the house. <br /> - Nine treated poles observed upright and nine treated wood poles lying flat, <br /> approximately 700 feet north of the house. <br /> - A pile of treated wood panels, adjacent the east side of the house. <br /> Issued a Notice to Abate to Andres Gomez. Provided DTSC guidance document <br /> for handling treated wood waste, a list of facilities approved to accepted treated <br /> wood waste, and a HHW brochure. <br /> Andres and Arlene Gomez were instructed to do the following: All treated wood <br /> waste that will not be reused, is to be properly removed from the property and <br /> disposed. Disposal records are to be provided to the SJC EHD. Photos of all <br /> treated wood that will be kept as product are to be provided to the SJC EHD. <br /> 06/21/2018 Received property owner(responsible party) mailing address from Natalia S. SC 544 <br /> 06/21/2018 Generated photo log PE 2200 FLORIDO <br /> 30 min SC 544 <br /> 07/27/2018 Called and left a message for Andres and Arlene Gomez (415-900-7813) and PE 2200 FLORIDO <br /> 12 min notified them that they have not provided me with the documentation to close out SC 544 <br /> the complaint. I reminded them that all my time spent trying to close out the <br /> complaint will be billed at EHD's current rate. <br /> 08/02/2018 Received a call from Tony Haymer (415-601-0944), a friend of Andres and Olga PE 2200 FLORIDO <br /> 24 min Gomez, property owners. Tony stated Andres and Olga are meeting with Alta SC 544 <br /> Sources next week to come up with a plan to remove of the treated wood waste <br /> on the property. I told Tony that I need to see disposal records for the treated <br /> wood waste, and photos of any treated wood that the owners plan to keep as <br /> product.
