(San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 8-5601) <br /> ENFORCEMENT AND COST RECOVERY <br /> Pursuant to the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 8-5601, the existence of an unsecured <br /> building(s) is a public nuisance. Failure to secure the above mentioned building(s) within <br /> (10) days is punishable as a misdemeanor. <br /> APPEAL <br /> An appeal to seek relief from this order may be field with the Director of the Environmental Health <br /> Department. The appeal must be in writing, must contain reasons for seeking relief from this order and <br /> must be received by the Environmental Health Department prior to the compliance date of this order. The <br /> Director or designee shall make a decision on the merit of the appeal within two (2) working days and <br /> may sustain, modify, or overturn this order.
