The report has boring logs that list Gregg Drilling and Testing as the driller. Prior
to drilling soil borings or monitoring wells in San Joaquin County, a permit must be secured from our
agency per San Joaquin County Ordinance Code No. 1862. Permits for drilling four (4) soil borings on
January 29, 1991, and six (6) soil borings on February 22, 1991,were not secured by you. Therefore, you
will find enclosed two permit applications to be completed by you and submitted with the permit and
penalty fees totalling$356.00.
On May 5,1990,Chris Christensen,Gregg Drilling and Testing Manager, attended an administrative hearing
regarding drilling without a permit at 151 S. Main Street, Manteca. He signed an agreement at that time
to comply with all the requirements of San Joaquin County Ordinance Code No. 1862 and notify our agency
forty-eight (48) hours in advance of performing any work. A copy of that agreement is enclosed. If it is
documented again that you have drilled in San Joaquin County without securing a permit, we will refer the
case to our local district attorney for legal action.
The enclosed permit applications and fees are to be submitted to this office within thirty (30) days of the
date of this letter or the case will be referred to our district attorney at that time.
If you have any questions, contact Margaret Lagorio, Senior REHS at (209)468-3449.
Jogi Khanna M.D., M.P.H.
Health Ocer /
aerie A.
