Weber Street, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Subject: First Quarter 2002 Groundwater Monitoring Report, Stagg High School, 1621 <br /> Brookside Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Wong: <br /> ATC Associates Inc., on behalf of the Stockton Unified School District, has prepared this letter to <br /> serve as a First Quarter 2002 Monitoring report for the subject site (Figures 1 and 2). <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> ATC's activities during the First Quarter of 2002 included monitoring water levels and collecting <br /> groundwater samples from on-site monitoring wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4, and MW5, <br /> analyzing the collected groundwater samples for petroleum hydrocarbon constituents, and <br /> preparation of this quarterly report. The location of the wells are shown on Figure 2. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> On March 4, 2002, ATC personnel conducted quarterly monitoring and sampling at the above <br /> referenced site. The wells were monitored, .purged, and sampled in accordance with ATC's' <br /> Workplan Addendum for Supplemental Subsurface Investigation at Stagg High School, 1621 <br /> Brookside Road, Stockton California; dated December 7, 2000 and ATC's Site Safety Plan <br /> submitted to PHS/EHD on July 1, 1999. <br /> Water level measurements were collected from wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4, and MW5 on <br /> March.4, 2002. The groundwater levels ranged in elevation from a high of—5.2 feet at MW4 to a <br /> low of—5.35 feet at MW5. The site's underlying groundwater direction of flow was observed to <br /> be to the north-northeast.
