L
v
D
A S S O C I A T E S I N C
Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in Table 1.
4_2 Groundwater Analytical Results
1. The groundwater samples collected from wells MW1, MW2, NM, MW4, and MW5 showed no
concentrations of TPHg, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes, and oxygenate fuel
additives detected above their laboratory method detection limits.
Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2.
Yt g P
5.0 DISCUSSION
Based on past analytical results and field observations, soil and groundwater beneath the location
' of the former 500-gallon gasoline UST is moderately impacted by petroleum hydrocarbon
constituents. The observations detailed in this report do not show that lateral migration of
' petroleum hydrocarbon impacted groundwater has occurred.
In the judgment of ATC, additional groundwater monitoring appears appropriate to confirm
nondetectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons. Based on the chemical results of the
additional monitoring, if sampling continues to show that petroleum hydrocarbons are not
detected in groundwater, the site should be recommended for closure.
wA17292Veports Sup_subsurf_investAm 5
