(Figure 1) during the third quarter of 1991. Activities during the <br /> " <br /> quarter included sampling groundwater for dissolved hydrocarbons <br /> and monitoring groundwater levels. <br /> Groundwater monitoring data collected in July reveals a constantly <br /> M1ra fluctuating water elevation and gradient due to changes in river r <br /> (Tables l & 2). The groundwater gradient map (Figure 2) shows an <br /> average gradient of 0.01 foot per feet or 52.8 feet per mile, and <br />:R. varying from south to southeast. <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from the three wells on July 2, <br /> '< 1991, for analyses of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes <br /> (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline and diesel <br /> (TPHG & TPHD), by EPA methods 8020/8015.
