Activities during
the quarter have included sampling for dissolved hydrocarbons and
monitoring of groundwater.
Groundwater monitoring data collected in August, ,r
eptembe:-, and
October reveals a constantly fluctuating water elevation due to
changes in River stage (Tables 1 & 2) . The groundwater gradient
maps (Figures 2,3,.4 & 5 ) show a water gradient of approximately
0.005 ft./ft in various directions.
Groundwater samples were collected from the three wells on
October 17, 1990, for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
xylenes (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline and
i diesel (TPHG &TPHD), b EPA methods 8020/8015.
Mother
a ow detection limits Ta le 3) .
