The cuttings can be
disposed with the other construction debris.
Thank you,
Adrienne
Adrienne Ellsaesser, REH5
Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton ,CA 95205
Ph (209)468-0343
Fax (209)468-0341
aellsaesser@sacehd.com
From: Jeanne Homsey [mailto:jeanne.homsey@car no.com]
Sent: Monday, October 29, 2012 2:36 PM
To: Adrienne Ellsaesser [EH]
Cc: John Yoakum [EH]
Subject: RE: Unidentified Monitoring Well
Hi Adrienne,
This well (piezometer)was destroyed this morning ley overdrilling the casing and sandpack. The cuttings were drummed
as requested by the inspector on site. Are we requited to analyze the cuttings and dispose of at a landfill? The
immediate area of the former well has been excavated to remove a swimming pool and there has been no evidence of
impacted soil. We propose to dispose of the cuttings with other construction material. Please let me know if this is
acceptable.
Thank you
Jeanne Hornsey, PE
BRANCH MANAGER
CARDNO ATC
1
