Former Valley Water Treatm
- 3 - 26 February 2009
612 North Buena Vista Road, ockton
San Joaquin County
Rationale for No Further Action
Threat to Human Health: There is no threat to human health from dermal contact because
contaminated soil has been removed and shallow groundwater is not being used. Future site
use at this time is not expected to change from the current commercial and industrial mixed
use.
e, and
Sensitive Receptors: An irrigation well is located 70 00 feet south of the0 feet northast of hSitelt Numerous
groundwater
water production well, owned by Arco islocated
groundwater monitoring wells are present within a 2000-foot radius.
Summary: The residual concentrations of salt at the Site do not present a threat to water quality
or human health because, a) the two monitoring wells that are above background levels exhibit
declining trends, and b) the estimated time to reach background or water quality objectives in
these two wells is three years or less.
Based on this evaluation. a No Further Action determination is appropriate at this time.
Attachment(s)
