The workplans consist of the following documents:
• Wastewater System Improvement Workplan • Operation and Management Plan
• Soil Sampling and Analysis Plan . Petroleum Control Workplan
The strategies outlined in the Wastewater System Improvement Workplan and the Soil
Sampling Analysis Plan are acceptable. Please finalize the documents and submit the
workplans with the California registered professional certification. The Operation and
Management Plan and Petroleum Control Workplan require amendment.
Operation and Maintenance Plan
The Operation and Maintenance Plan should be amended to address where wastewater is
directed when the concrete lined oil separation pond is drained for maintenance activities and
where solids generated in the wastewater system are disposed of. Please address the items
and finalize the report, including professional certification.
Petroleum Control Workplan
The Petroleum Control Workplan should be amended to address improvements that will be
implemented to prevent petroleum from being discharged to the environment via the standby-
unlined pond. The main concern regarding such a discharge is when the concrete lined oil
separation ponds are out of service due to maintenance activities. Please address the items
and finalize the report, including professional certification.
Please submit the amended and certified workplans by 15 August 2008.
