This report documents the first monitoring event since the initial <br /> sampling was completed. <br />' 1.1 Site History <br /> The site consists of a single parcel of light industrial use Property <br /> encompassing a total area of about 0.8 acres. It is on the east side of Buena <br /> Vista Avenue at its terminus against the deep water turning basin and just <br /> south the intersection with Fremont Street. A water softener company, <br />' (Valley Water Treatment) has occupied a portion of the parcel. <br /> In 1987, a former underground gasoline tank was removed under County <br /> supervision and low levels of petroleum hydrocarbons leaked to impact the <br /> soil. On March 9, 2005, Geo-Phase Environmental issued a document entitled <br /> Report - Soil Borbw Installation 612 N. Buena Vista Avenue Stockton CA <br /> regarding the installation of several Geo-Probe soil borings that documented <br /> the presence of gasoline hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater in the area <br /> of the former tank.
