Robert and Mike Strong,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has <br /> prepared this report for the destruction of thirteen ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through <br /> MW-13) at 5157 West Business Loop 205, Tracy, California. The site location is depicted in <br /> Figure 1; site structures and former well locations are depicted in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTIONIBACKGROUND <br /> Thirteen single completed, two-inch diameter, ground water monitoring wells (MW-1 through <br /> MW-13)had been installed as part of a subsurface investigation of the former underground storage <br /> tank (UST) areas at the site. Monitoring wells MW-1 through'MW-,4 and MW-7 through MW-12 <br /> were installed to depths of 25 feet below surface grade (bsg),monitoring wells MW-5 and MW-6 <br /> were installed to depths of 30 feet bsg, and well MW-13 was installed to a depth of 79 fee bsg. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> r <br /> On 19, 20, and 21 January 2010, a total of thirteen (13) ground water monitoring wells were <br /> ' destroyed at the site under San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) well <br /> destruction permit (Appendix A). Well destruction activities were performed by All Well <br /> ' Abandonment,Inc. of Placerville,California.Monitoring wells MW71 and MW-13 were destroyed <br /> k by grouting the well casings under pressure and over-drilling each well to three feet bsg.
