(AGE) and has the following comments. <br /> In the letter AGE states that no work was conducted at your contaminated underground storage <br /> tank site during the first quarter of 2009, recommends conducting annual groundwater <br /> monitoring and sampling at your site, and states that AGE anticipated that investigation <br /> activities will resume at your site during the fourth quarter of 2009. <br /> The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has issued a resolution that all <br /> contaminated underground storage tank (UST) sites currently in the UST Cleanup Fund <br /> program be evaluated for closure. In order for this evaluation to be made for your site, please <br /> submit a Closure Report which includes: <br /> 1. A calculation of contaminant mass remaining in both soil and groundwater. <br /> 2. A demonstration that the vertical extent of the impacted media has been defined. <br /> 3. A prediction of how long (in years) it will be until the dissolved contaminant <br /> concentrations onsite will reach water quality goals. <br /> 4. An evaluation of the potential vapor intrusion threat from the remaining <br /> contamination in both soil and groundwater. <br /> 5. Confirmation that a sensitive receptor survey has been completed for the site. <br /> 6. All other requirements of the Tri-Regional Guidelines Appendix A. <br /> In correspondence dated August 27, 2009 the EHD outlined a modified monitoring and sampling <br /> regimen for the groundwater monitoring wells at this site. Until further notice, wells MW-2A and <br /> MW-5 should be sampled on a semi- annual schedule; all other wells should be sampled on and <br /> annual schedule.
