INTRODUCTION _ <br /> At the request of Messrs,Robert"and Mike,;Strong, Advanced,Gdo' nvironmental;..Inc.(AGE) has <br />' prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 5157•-West Business Loop 205; Tracy; <br /> California. The'scope of work-included-the installation of two ground.water,monitoring,wells <br /> '(MW11 and MW12),performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of ' <br />' this report.The site and the,surrounding area are illustrated on Figure•1'. Structures'and monitoring " <br /> well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. Quarterly monitoring data from July 1998 to the present <br /> is summarized in Tables,'1 and 3 of •this-report. Historical-site investigation information-is <br />' summarized in Appendix:A.-GeoTracker confirmation pages of the submitted depth to water and <br /> laboratory electronic deliverable'.format•(EDF) files-are included in Appendix:B.`,. . - <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES . <br /> On 05 March 2004; soil borings MW 11 and MW 12 were advanced at•the;`site. Field work was _ <br /> performed as outlined in the AGE-prepared Monitoring Well Installation Work; dated 20•January, <br /> 2004 <br /> and approved by the San Joaquin County Environinental Health Department(EHD)by letter <br /> dated 22 January 2004;.the work was performed in,accordance with -guidelines established'by the <br /> ' <br /> Central Valley,Regional Water Quality_ Control Board (CVRWQCB) for..the investigation-'of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites. ; <br /> On 31 March 2004, twelve monitoring wells(MW l through MW 12) and two domestic water wells'.., <br /> (DW5157 and•DW5055);were purged and sampled. -All fieldwork procedures. and reporting . <br /> requirements are in''•accordanc : with guidelines issued .by 'the',CVRWQCB for subsurface <br /> investigations of UST sites and guidelines issued by EHD:for sampling of groundwater monitoring <br />' `wells. r <br /> -,2.1. DRILLING AND SAMPLING,• <br /> On 05March 2004,two soil borings'were.advanced at-the'site.' The soil borings were advanced using <br />'. a CME-75HT drill ri� e ui ed-With $.25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers to,advance bbrin s <br /> . g� q PP, . , g � <br /> MW11 , and. MW12'. The drill rig and two-man crew were supplied by' Mitchell- Drilling <br /> Environmental. Auger returns" generated'by, drilling were stored; on-site, ftf 'labeled; °55-gallon, <br /> Department of Transportation(DOT)-,approved'drums. <br /> Soil samples were,collected ahead ofahe drill bit using a California-modified split-spoon•sampler <br /> loaded withthree re- - - <br /> p cleaned 2:inch by 6 inch brass sleeves.The samples were collected from <br /> . mon'toring'we11 pilot borings MW 11 and MW 12 at five�footintervals,beginning at 15 feet bsg using <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc" , <br />
