The <br /> P p p . y p Y r <br /> scope of work completed during the quarter included ground water sampling of monitoring wells ; <br /> MWI through MW6, the,domestic Well-located at 5157 West Business Loop 205 (DW5157) and <br />'1 preparation of this report. Also included is a site conceptual,model as required by"the,San Joagiuiri <br /> County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) by letter dated 16 <br /> Janilary.2001. The site and,the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures and monitoring,. <br /> well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> IBackground -in.formation is summarized in the AGE-prepared document .titled Additio'nal.'Site <br /> Assessment Work Plan,Addendum, dated 01 July 2000. Quarterly monitoring'data from July 19.98 <br /> to the present is.summarized in Tables 1 and 2 of this report: ' <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work,was performed in accordance with guidelines developed by the San'Joaquin County ; <br /> PHS-,EHD and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for sampling <br /> ground water monitoring wells and for investigating underground storage tank (UST) sites. <br /> 2.1 -MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES ; <br /> Sampling of ground water monitoringwells MWI .through MW6 and,domestic well DW5157 <br /> I'. occurred on 15 March 2001.For the g sam lin event•aSolinst.water level meter was used to measure <br /> p � ' y .. . <br /> the depth to groundwater in the six monitoring wells relative to.the tops of the well casings..The <br /> ground water elevations and gradient were determined from these data(Table 1). <br /> After recording water level measurements, a submersible pump was used to purge each monitoring. <br /> Iwell of standing water. Approximately 5 'to 8.'gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing-water <br /> ,volumes) were removed from"each well. Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were <br /> measured at-regular intervals during purging,using an Oakton water analyzer. Field sheets and data ,- <br />' are included�in Appendix A.
