Containers larger than <br />five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br />within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />Observed the following at the facility: <br />1) Catch basin with dark liquid in Alison shop was not labeled. <br />2) Satellite used oil container at the front shop without physical state. <br />3) Satellite used oil container in the dismantling shop without the physical state. <br />4) Satellite antifreeze container in the dismantling shop without the hazardous properties and physical state. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, flammable, or corrosive) <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by October 18, 2015. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
