The following are Class II (Repeat) <br />Violations: 108, 128, 301, 605, 610, and Notice to Comply: 112, 113, 126, 602/603/604, 902/907 <br />108. (Repeat) The following wastes require hazardous waste determination: <br />- Saturated used absorbent in one unlabeled 5 -gallon bucket and on the floor in the gear room <br />- Saturated absorbent by the parts washer in the gear room <br />- Metal waste in the catch bucket of the grinding lathe and surround area in the gear room <br />- Multiple buckets under work bench and parts washer with varying amount of oil in the li'e Shop <br />- Sand debris and absorbent on the ground by the sandblaster in the truck repair shop ��"�"'%sg�a►^ <br />- Oil spills and absorbent on the main work floor of the truck repair shop <br />- Oily solid waste at the outdoor pressure washer / steam pad <br />- Filter on the aerosol can processor which use has been declared discontinued in your company's <br />corrective action statement dated July 8, 2011. <br />Generator shall make hazardous waste determination of the waste and manage the waste accordingly. <br />Immediately make a hazardous waste determination of the above wastes and manage each accordingly, <br />or dispose of the waste as hazardous waste in accordance to California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title <br />22. In addition, hazardous waste properties and size of metal particles must be determined before they <br />can be recycled as scrap metal. Hazardous metal particles 100 microns or smaller cannot be recycled <br />but must be handled as hazardous waste. If the waste is determined to be a non -hazardous waste, you <br />are required to submit evidence (i.e. third party laboratory testing results) supporting such a <br />determination to EHD. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br />managed by 03/22/2014. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br />9/121/ `� I I Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
