H&SC 25201.160) No notification to EHD that facility is processing universal waste aerosol cans. <br />-- Notification to the EHD is required if you process universal waste aerosol cans. Notification to the <br />EHD is also required within 30 days of any change in operation that changes the information you <br />originally provided. All handlers who process universal waste aerosol cans must meet requirements <br />under section 25201.16 including processing requirements, written operating procedure, and employee <br />training. <br />* Submit notification to EHD that facility process universal waste aerosol cans by July 23, 2011. Please <br />be aware that you are require to meet handling requirements under section 25201.16. A copy of <br />SB1158 Designated Aerosol Cans as "Universal Waste" factsheet has been provided to you. <br />NOTES <br />The facility generated 38018.8 pounds of hazardous waste in 2010 based on disposal records found on <br />site and number provided on DTSC website from known manifests. Facility is a truck dismantling <br />business generating hazardous wastes from operation and from equipment maintenance. <br />Discussed with generator that filters from parts washer cannot go into the drained oil filter container. A <br />hazardous waste determination of these filters must be made and managed according to that <br />determination, or disposed as hazardous waste in accordance to Title 22 under manifest. <br />Discussed with generator hazardous waste determination of the any sandblast waste must be made and <br />managed accordingly. <br />A copy of Auto Repair Management Practice factsheet, CUPA class schedule, blank hazardous waste <br />labels, hazardous waste labeling factsheet, and San Joaquin County Small Business Hazardous Waste <br />Disposal Program pamphlet, have been provided to generator during this inspection. <br />Submit the following to EHD by: July 23, 2011 <br />1) A completed copy of the (provided) Return to Compliance Certification (please keep original for <br />your records). <br />2) A written statement how each violation was corrected <br />3) Evidence (i.e. photos, disposal receipts, documents) in support of the corrections made. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DAT S WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122). <br />THIS FACILI IS §UBJECT TO REINSPECTION Aj ANY TI E T EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD spe <br />Received <br />Title:Q / <br />EHD 23-0 -003 08/10/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
