May 23, 2008
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
RAY VON FLUE
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, Ca. 95202-3029
Dear Mr. Von Flue,
Please find the following Certification Of Return To Compliance for our yard located at
1016 S Wilson Way, which I have signed and dated. We have completed all of the
violations except for #12, #19, #45 & #94, which you have brought to our attention. We
are working on these problems and I will mail you an update on them, as we complete
them.
#10. We have located a paint waste hauler PCL System & Waste Service for our Paint
Booth filters. When needed to service these filters, Acme will order a 55 gallon drum for
PCL to pick up. We will not store the empty or partially full drum. This was quoted at
$325. @ Pick up.
# 12. We are planning to install a cement block retaining wall along both the north and
south edges of our rear wash area. These will help minimize the chance of this hazardous
waste outside of the concrete slab.
#19. PCL, the same vendor who will pickup our paint filters, has been contracted to pick
up our 55 gallon drum of residual paint waste from our aerosol cans. For the future, we
have ordered a 5 gallon can which we can fit our can puncher/filter onto. PCL will
charge us by the pound, and pick it up every 90 days. This is scheduled to begin the first
week of June.
#45. We are currently working on our Contingency Plan. I have down loaded it from
71-40/0 r www.unidocs.or. This will be a helpful document to have. I will get this out to the
appropriate organizations upon its completion.
#94. SPCC Plan: We are currently looking into getting under the 1320 gallon ruling for
the Aboveground Petroleum Storage Tank Program. I have been consulting with you and
Cody Begley on this. I understand that this 1320 gallon limit is per site, and for new and
usable petroleum products stored in tanks larger than 250 gallons, which are fixed to the
ground. We also need to add into the total, any and all drums of new petroleum products.
Thank you, Nathan Davidson/ Acme Truck Parts and Equip.
c
