A non-empty 14.5 fluid ounce container of water pump lubricant & protector was thrown in to the <br /> trash can of the auto shop without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person <br /> who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop disposing of <br /> non-empty containers of automotive liquid products into the trash, make a hazardous waste <br /> determination for any non-empty containers of automotive liquid products, and manage it according to <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br /> this waste was managed. <br /> 111. The facility Contingency Plan was not on site at time of inspection. A copy of the contingency plan <br /> and all revisions to the plan shall be: maintained at the facility and submitted to all local police <br /> departments, fire departments, hospitals, and State and local emergency response teams that may be <br /> called upon to provide emergency services. Correct immediately by maintaining the required contingency <br /> plan on site. Submit a copy to the EHD. <br /> 117. Personnel training records are incomplete. Facility lacked documentation to show that employees <br /> had been trained on hazardous waste management requirements.
