QUARRY RECLAMATION <br /> PAGE 6 <br /> purposes include analyses for detectable concentrations of chlorinated <br /> hydrocarbons (solvents) by EPA Method 8010, and semi-volatile organics by EPA <br /> Method 8270. <br /> Testing for potential toxicity of the soil sample is another approach to determine <br /> if the potential contamination encountered is a hazardous. According to Title 22 <br /> of the California Code, materials can be identified as hazardous by a toxicity test. <br /> The toxicity test procedures described in Title 22, Section 66261.24, referred to <br /> as the LC50 method, would be used in this case. <br /> 5.0 FOLLOW-UP REPORT <br /> Following completion of excavation and receipt of the laboratory results, a letter report will be <br /> prepared for submission to the San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health, by El <br /> Rancho Rock & Sand, Inc. The report will include: <br /> • A chronology of the investigation activities conducted at the site. <br /> A compilation of field screening data. <br /> • A scaled map of the site showing the locations of sampling sites, excavations, containers <br /> and stockpiles. <br /> • Available photographs of the materials investigated. <br /> • A presentation and interpretation of the analytical data. <br /> y • Recommendations regarding options for treatment and/or disposal of the stockpiled <br /> materials. <br /> El Rancho Rock & Sand, Inc. will comply with all requirements of County, State and Federal <br /> law in the ultimate disposition of all contaminated materials identified. <br /> FILE: f:\PROJECT\746\REP\REMEDI.PLN <br />
