No smoking will be a.lIowed in the exclusion <br /> zone. <br /> The site manager will arrange for sampling of the contaminated to be sampled and <br /> analyzed. <br /> B. The site manager shall coordinate all activities of equipment and personnel at the project <br /> site. Site manager responsibilities will include the following: <br /> 1. Limiting access within the site perimeter to authorized personnel. <br /> 2. Providing written log of on-site activities and events. <br /> 3. Monitoring ambient air vapor concentrations on the site perimeter. <br /> 4. Notification of regulatory agencies during emergency procedures as defined in <br /> step C below. <br /> 5. Enforcement of site safety precautions. <br /> C. During sampling soils containing organic vapors and liquid contaminants, all personnel <br /> shall undertake the following precautions: <br /> 1. Skin/Clothes Protection <br /> a. Disposable suits, steel-toed rubber boots or steel-toed boots covered with <br /> disposable boots, and suitable gloves will be worn at all times. <br /> b. disposable plastic gloves will be worn for sampling (changed after each <br /> sample). <br /> C. Hard hats will be worn during all activities. <br /> d. Disposable clothing will be discarded to an appropriate storage container <br /> at the end of each day and disposed of properly at the completion of the <br /> job. <br />
