The analytical results of the stockpile samples are summarized on Table 3. The
laboratory reports and chains-of-custody are included in Appendix B.
4.3 Stratigraphy and Field Observations
Moist to wet clay with silt was encountered from the surface to the bottom of borings MW-2
and MW-3 (20 feet). Silty sand was encountered at approximately 19 feet in boring MW-1.
Water was encountered at a depth of approximately 6 to 7 feet in each boring.
Odors of longer-chained hydrocarbons were noted at a depth of 5 feet in boring MW-1.
Organic vapors were detected at a concentration of 40 ppmv in this sample. No other
hydrocarbon odors or organic vapors were detected in any of the borings The boring logs
are included in Appendix C.
4.4 Analytical Results of Soil Samples
.J
A total of 6 soil samples collected during the installation of the monitoring wells were
analyzed for TPH as gasoline and BTE&X. One sample was also analyzed for TPH multi-
range (gasoline, diesel and motor oil). TPH as gasoline was detected in sample MW1-5 at
a concentration of 72 ppm. TPH as gasoline, diesel and motor oil were detected in sample
x..68-1,,.&s.M..c I- 11
xuanxs,.drvrn-
