MW1-5 at concentrations of 34 ppm, 660 ppm and 710 ppm, respectively in the TPH -
" multi-range analysis. Xylene was detected in this sample at 0.097 ppm. TPH as gasoline was
detected in sample MW3-5 at a concentration of 3.0 ppm.No other petroleum hydrocarbons
were detected in any samples from the installation of the three monitoring wells. The
analytical results of the soil samples are summarized in Table 4.The laboratory reports and
chains-of-custody are included in Appendix D.
.J
TABLE 4
ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF
MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION SOIL SAMPLES
Caldron's General Store
12750 West Byron Road, Tracy, California
(mg/kg)
Sample TPH as TPH as TPH as Ethyl-
ID Gasoline Diesel Motor Benzene Toluene benzene Xylene
J MW1-5 72 ND ND ND 0.097
(34) 660 710
MW1-10 ND NA NA ND ND ND ND
.J
MW2-5 ND NA NA ND ND ND ND
MW2-10 ND NA NA ND ND ND ND
MW3-5 3.2 NA NA ND ND ND ND
MW3-10 ND NA NA ND ND ND ND
MSAs - pans per million(ppm)
ND - None Detected
" NA - Not Analyzed
4.5 Relative Groundwater Elevation and Gradient
The relative elevation of the groundwater in each well was calculated by subtracting the
water depth from the surveyed casing elevation (Table 5). Groundwater gradient was
calculated to be 0.0045 ft/ft directed N 271,E on October 24, 1994 and 0.0046 ft/ft directed
N 30°E on December 5, 1994.
