My client has just received notification of <br /> hazardous waste discharge pursuant to Health and Safety Code <br /> section 25180 . 7 . <br /> You have listed Sunboro Development orporation as the responsible <br /> person/business . While Sunboro Development Corporation owns the <br /> -gropeFrty-, the -dis-charge-- occurred—long before their- owner-sh-i-psof"—the- <br /> property. My clients purchased the property in-. Janua.Ky, 1988 . The <br /> sellers, Rule Enterprises,-----irTnru.-.—,------tl'ie— ettencourts, and the Reeves, <br /> warran eT-rU-my--ut1—en-f that the property was free of any contamina- <br /> tion. Shortly after the purchase, MV client discovered that there <br /> was apparently oil contamination on he property. This contamination <br /> was apparently caused by. either railroad lines or pipelines dis- <br /> charging oil into the property. <br /> While Sunboro Development Corporation is the owner of the property <br /> at the present time, they are certaiiily not responsible for any <br /> discharge of hazardous wastes . <br /> The companies we believe may be responsible for the discharge <br /> include the following: Southern Pac -fic Pipe Lines , Inc. ; Southern <br />
