Byron Road between Henderson and Wicklund, Tracy, CA 95304 <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> At the request of Chevron Environmental Management Company (CEMC), Science <br /> Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has prepared these soil boring permit <br /> application packets for the installation of temporary soil borings on three separate parcels. <br /> The proposed soil borings are located on both sides of W. Byron Road, between <br /> Henderson Road and Wicklund Road (Figure 3, attached). <br /> The soil boringss will be drilled using direct push drilling equipment up to a depth of <br /> approximately 50 feet bgs. Grab groundwater samples will be collected using a peristaltic <br /> pump as soon as the groundwater equilibrates. After grab groundwater sample collection, <br /> the soil borings will be destroyed according to San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(SJCEHD) guidelines. <br /> The driller for this project is RSI Drilling, C57# 802-334. SAIC requests that a copy of <br /> the approved permit be sent to Will Slowik, SAIC,3800 Watt Ave, Suite 210, <br /> Sacramento, CA 95821. <br /> After receipt of approved permit, SAIC will notify SJCEHD at least 48-hours prior to <br /> beginning field work.
