R5-2003-0044, NOA NO. R5-2003-004414, MOUNTAIN HOUSE CREEK BRIDGE <br /> CONSTRUCTION AND STREAMBED ALTERATION PROJECT, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> A Report of Waste Discharge (RWD) was submitted in support of the discharge of treated groundwater <br /> from dewatering wells installed as part of the Trimark Communities (Trimark) Mountain House Creek <br /> bridge construction and streambed alteration project where the creek crosses Byron Road. Trimark and <br /> ChevronTexaco submitted a RWD as application for coverage under Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> General Order No. R5-2003-0044 (Order, see attached), for the discharge of treated groundwater at one <br /> location approximately 4,000 feet southwest of the proposed construction site. The fee and RWD dated <br /> 7 June 2004 were received 10 June 2004. The additional supporting technical information was received <br /> on 2 July 2004. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION <br /> The project is located where Mountain House Creek crosses beneath Byron Road approximately one- <br /> quarter mile northwest of Mountain House Parkway and one and one-quarter miles southeast of the <br /> Alameda and San Joaquin County line. The project site, including the areas for treated water discharge is <br /> within the S % of Section 4, T2S, R4E, MDB&M (Figure 1). <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project includes the removal of the existing stream crossing, excavation and installation of footings <br /> for the Byron Road replacement bridge that will cross Mountain House Creek. However, installation of <br /> the footings requires dewatering to lower the shallow groundwater.
