Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 9:23 AM
To: 'Ignatowicz, Lee'
Cc: 'bbakrania@chevrontexaco.com'
Subject: RE: Planned fieldwork at Mountain House Site 1 and 2.
althought I appreciate your dedication to following thru on your scheduling, may I once again remind you that
scheduling a start date BEFORE the EHD permits are issued is premature and could result in complications if
other priorities at EHD do not allow for YOUR scheduling.
In the future please ensure that all packet submittal information is at EHD in as much of ONE package as
possible. THis process for Site's 1 & 2 was incomplete and confusing and just resolved this am. And now you're
scheduling for Monday. This only allows me three days to complete YOUR work. You should realize I have many
other requestors AHEAD of you who have submitted complete packets before you and are waiting their turn to
schedule a start date.
This is your reiterated notice that EHD will NOT accept apts to start UNTIL the permits have been issued.
As a reminder, Stage#2 for Site's 1 & Z packet is incomplete. DO NOT schedule that phase until you hear from
me that I have ISSUED the permits. That will ONLY happen once I receive all of the papers (checks, access
aggreements, etc).
THis rush for Stage#1 is unacceptable as a continued procedure, Rushing like this in future phases will not result
in scheduling approval (quicker issuance of permits). You should allow enough time for me to handle, review, and
prioritize your submittals. i will, and have with your predecessors, notify you of any deficiencies or if I have issued
the permits. Going ahead with your schedule without nearing from me that I HAVE ISSUED THE PERMITS, like
you did today, could result in re-scheduling concerns if I have other priorities and can't issue your permits within
your time period.
This time I will do my best to meet your rush. This is the last time.
I will notify you when the last two permits for Stage#1, Site's 1 & 2 are issued.
-----Original Message-----
From: Ignatowicz, Lee [mailto:ZBIGNIEW.L.IGNATOWICZ@saic.com]
Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 8:46 AM
To: bbakrania@chevrontexaco.com; Mike Infurna [EH]; Gabriel Karam [MH]; 'Adam Gee ; 'Mansholt, M S
(Scott)'; sploof@mountainhouse.net; brook@ResonantSonic.com; 'FLASHSAFETYCO@AOL.COM'
Cc: DelFrate, Todd A; Mercado, Luis M; Slowik, William P; Higgins, Lee P; Martin, Eric E
Subject: Planned fieldwork at Mountain House Site 1 and 2.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
SAIC will start drilling fieldwork on Mountain House Site # 1 and # 2 on
Monday, April 19, 2004.
