PHASE II SITE ASSESSMENT WORK PLAN CITY OF STOCKTON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY GLEASOP I PARK PROPERTIES STOCK ON, CALIFORNIA 1.0 INTRODUCTION This work plan outlines a proposed work c cope to perform a Phase H Site Assessment(PHASE II) on three of the Gleason Park Properties located at 300 California Street, 323 American Street, and 328 California Street in the City of Stockt n, California(SITES). This work plan was prepared by the Environmental Services Division of The Twining Laboratories, Inc. (Twining), located in Fresno, California. Mr. Dwayne Milnes and Ms. Kitty Walker representing the City of Stockton Redevelopment Agency,commissioned preparation of this work plan in an agreement dated January 2, 2001. Ms. Walker can be contacted through the City of Stockton Redevelopment office at 305 North El Dorado,Suite 200,Stockton,California,telephone (209) 937-8811. This work is not being carried out at the r quest of any regulatory agency. This work plan and a permit application will be submitted for approval to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division(PHS-E ). Based on the results of this assessment,the client will either be seeking a letter of"no further a tion required" from the PHS-EHD, or remedial action oversite. 2.0 BACKGROUND A description of the SITES,the geologic and hydrologic characteristics, and the project history are summarized in the following subsections. 2.1 Site Description: The SITES are located in the city of Stockton, San Joaquin County, California at 300 California Street(Skipp'E Auto Repair owner by Michael Olivarez),323 American Street (American Body Shop owned by Mr. Bob Franco), and 328 California Street (California Radiator Works owned by Mr.Bob Franco).. The SITES exist within Section 11,Township 1 North, ' Range 6 East,Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian. Assessor's parcel numbers for the three SITES are 149-095-01 (300 California Street),149-095-06(323 American Street),and 149-095-15 and 149- 095-16 (328 California Street). Drawing 1 is a site location map. The elevation for the area approximately 305 feet above mean sea level.
