Other thoughts I have for the future would be how will the Low Threat Closure Policy will affect city sites and their cleanups (will they be on a fast track), and if the city decide to file bankruptcy, do we have any outstanding charges owed to us by the city that need to be included in the court documents for restitution. We are not hopeful that the City will do anything, but we also don't think it would be fruitful to refer the site to the Regional Board; no money is still no money. Vicki's strategy is to give long deadlines for submitting reports or work plans and see if over time the City can respond more positively. It may be that the Regional Board would list this site for the EAR account, so we'll put this site on the list to discuss with Jim Barton in May.
