The goal of the site evaluation performed by Public Health Services Environmental Health <br /> Division(PHS/EHD)is to certify closures of underground tank leakage sites. Closure certification occurs only after mitigation <br /> activities are completed. <br /> In addition, the "Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Initial Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tanks"and <br /> "Appendix A"reporting format and the LUFT Manual shall be utilized as guidance documents in the preparation of work plans <br /> and/or reports. <br /> In previous correspondence San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD)notified you <br /> that further investigation of the site was needed. State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund Program staff has recently <br /> reviewed the UST file of PHS/EHD to determine if you are in compliance with our corrective action orders and directives for <br /> the site. PHS/EHD is directing you to submit a work plan to further investigate the extent of contamination at this site by January <br /> 15, 1995. <br /> A list of consultants that have worked in this county is enclosed.
