California St. RO#:000504 <br /> Stockton CA., 95203. <br /> WORK PLAN: "Work Plan for Pump Testing Aquifers" DATED: April 11,2002. <br /> PREPARED BY: Foothill Engineering—Ervin Rifenb=, P.E. <br /> STATUS: APPROVED with conditions. <br /> ADEQUATE AND NECESSARY ELEMENTS OF THE WORK PLAN M&S 25299 37 <br /> subd c 3 : <br /> • Install one six-inch PVC groundwater extraction well to sixty feet below grade <br /> (60' bgs) and perform a 24-hour aquifer pump test and, <br /> • Containerize and characterize purged groundwater (not > 21,000 gallons) and, <br /> • Either treat purge water onsite (charcoal treatment or `bio-remediation') or <br /> haul off as designated waste to approved facility and, <br /> • Analyze two (2) groundwater samples for TPHg and BTEX (8020F) and, <br /> • Compile and submit a report of findings to EHD. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> • Groundwater samples to be additionally analyzed for seven (7) Oxygenates <br /> (including Methanol and Ethanol), 1,2-DCA, EDB,by EPA Method 8260B, <br /> and soluble Lead and, <br /> • The groundwater extraction well should not be constructed with the screened <br /> interval in the vadose (dry) portion of the subsurface.
